Hey everyone, just came across your forum via rctech.net...your track seems to be one of the closest to me (Im from Burlington, Vermont) Do you run any classes that I could run with my stock HPI RS4 3 or RC10GT?

Also, when are your race days/practice times?

No worries on your placement for the post, you are in luck as this coming season I am starting a new class using the HPI RS4. As far as practice is concerned if the weather is nice you are able to run on the track. I for one try to make it out most Saturdays for practice with Sundays being the race day. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and we will do our best to answer them.

Awesome, I was debating selling my RS4 to fund an electric touring car...but now I think Ill stick with the RS4

Is the track open currently, weather permitting or still waiting on spring/summer weather? Is there a fee to practice?

LOL we are still covered in Snow, the track opens the beginning of May.

Hi Mugenkyle, yes there is practice fees at the RC Pike-River track, the price is set to 10$ for the 2010 season. But if you pay your entire season before the first race you have access to practice for free.

Are you alone to own RC cars in Burlington area or you have some other friends your used to roll with.

Yea I saw the fees after browsing the forums a bit more. I should have looked a little harder before asking lol

Im pretty much alone, only know of one other guy local to me who races. I used to race pan cars in Barre, VT but their track closed down and not sure what happened to the regulars there. Shortly after my oval car was stolen leading to me getting out of RC for a bit until recently(last year) when I thought Id give nitro a try and bought my RS4 and RC10GT. I also just picked up an old MR-4 TC so I could try some electric touring.

This is going to be awesome for 2010 season, I have a new member that will be coming for the HPI Spec Nitro series as he just ordered his car from Ted's Hobbies on Thursday. So it looks like we will have 4 for Spec Nitro and 4 for Open Nitro.

I should have my cars ready for action in the next 2 weeks as I currently have the cars completely apart.
