RC Pike River’s track is unique and located in Canada.

It’s the only permanent asphalt track within Canada.  An exceptional site for practice and competition RC racing for electric and nitro vehicles. The track is ROAR 2008 registered (Remotely Operated Auto Racers), ROAR being the North-American body that establishes rules and regulations for RC based competition racing.

The track has been designed to welcome RC vehicles within the 1/10th touring sedan 200mm and 1/8th scale.  The outside walls that embody the track are smooth fiberglass and are more foregiving when the vehicle hits the wall.

The pavement has been newly treated with a specila sealant that improves traction and improves tire wear. During race days it is treated with a sugar/water solution to add more traction.

The race track layout can be change at the east end of the track so that it may be either technical or fast. The straight can be configured up to 172 feet ending with a sharp hairpin. The width varies from 12 feet to 19 feet at certain areas with the long curves. The track is located with a 226 x 75 feet area.

The AMBrc lap counting system is used to manage the timing of transponder equipped vehicles. Each vehicle lap is precisely timed. A few rechargeable transponders are made available for those that do not have a permanent AMBrc transponder. The surrounding track area is plenty big to welcome 10x10 pit tents.

The track is located 45 minutes from Montreal, easy access via highway 10, then highway 35 towards St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu, the route 133.  It is located at 530 route 133, St-Pierre-de-Véronne-de-PikeRiver, Quebec.

All services are offered : Racers stand that is elevated above ground, cantine, air compressor, toilettes, electricity, tables.  Nearby, there is a restaurant, camping, a motel.  Also within St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu you will find well known hotels and restaurants.

Only thing missing is to bring your racing equipment and for spectators a chair to encourage the racers.
